It all seems like a bad dream.
Yesterday, we said goodbye to another legend who defined an era of Bollywood – Rishi Kapoor lost his battle with cancer on 30 April, 2020.
A day after mourning the loss of actor Irrfan Khan, we had to absorb this heartbreaking news.
Looking back at Rishi Kapoor’s life, we can’t help but smile knowing he lived a glorious one.
With the “Kapoor” lineage he may have had it easy at the start of his career, but he always believed in the power of hard work. His passion for films and entertainment is what made him a superstar, an icon.
Rishi Kapoor was charming. He won hearts of generations over for five decades, with his mischievous smile and infectious energy. He was outspoken about his work, his family, his relationship with his son and even his whiskey.
Rishi Kapoor was Bollywood’s first romantic hero and the cutest grumpy uncle on Twitter. He felt like family.
He is irreplaceable and the only way to honor his memories is by celebrating him. We want to remember our lovely ‘Chintu Ji’ joyously.
