Over the last few days, Alia Bhatt has been dropping hints about her upcoming film Raazi,
directed by Meghna Gulzar. Starting with sharing two images from the film on her birthday, a photo of her taking a break on the sets, a short teaser video, followed by a series of posts about her character in the film.
And finally today the world woke up to the much-awaited trailer of Raazi.
The film is a spy thriller starring Alia Bhatt as Sehmat and Vicky Kaushal as a Pakistani soldier, who is married to Sehmat.
Sehmat is a young Kashmiri girl who juggles the roles of being an obedient daughter, dutiful wife and a brave Indian spy. Raazi is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, based on true events.

The trailer not only gives a sneak peak into the film, but reinstates Bhatt’s talent and ability to effortlessly mold into any character with absolute finesse.
