Actress Katrina Kaif has often spoken about her desire to work in superhero film, and seems like she has just created an opportunity for herself.
Collaborating with her friend and filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar, Kaif has developed a superhero saga that is expected to go on floors post the lockdown.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Zafar confirmed the news of locking the script and is actively working on the pre-production of the film.
“There’s a lot of prep required because of the kind of action involved and I am in touch with an international team over video calls. I’m also doing script readings with my actors and chatting with the production designer. There is a lot happening.”

The Sultan director intends on launching the project on a grand scale with a budget of roughly INR 90 crores and also turning it into a franchise.
According to some reports, online streaming platform Netflix has already acquired the rights of the film.
The filmmaker and Kaif also plans to start recce as soon as production work can officially resume.
The Tiger Zinda Hai actress will next be seen in Sooryavanshi directed by Rohit Shetty. The action film was scheduled for release on 24 March, 2020 but had to be indefinitely posted due to the outbreak of COVID-19. While some makers have decided to release completed films on digital, the makers of Sooryavanshi have opted to wait for a big theatrical release instead.
