Actress Kangana Ranaut made a passing announcement on season 5 of Koffee With Karan on her intention of making a biopic on her life, and now that seems to be happening.
The Manikarnika actress has confirmed sharing her story of rising from rags to riches in a cinematic experience. She made a statement –

But it is not a propaganda film with characters who are starkly black and white, rather it is a sincere, heartfelt account of my journey so far with plenty of lighter moments. I am emboldened by the love of the people around me, who have never judged me, but accepted me for who I am.
The 31-year-old National Award Winner has been involved in several controversies over the past few years. From frequent fallouts with filmmakers in the industry to ugly breakups with partners in alleged relationships, Ranaut is known to be extremely vocal about her journey and survival tactics.
The actress made her directorial debut with her latest period drama Manikarnia: The Queen of Jhansi that has been soaring at the box office for almost two weeks.
Ranaut will be seen next in Ekta Kapoor’s Mental Hai Kya and Panga directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.
