Actor Saif Ali Khan is truly experimenting new roles and forms as an actor. Earlier titled Hunter, director Navdeep Singh’s next film is now called Laal Kaptaan starring Khan in the lead as a Naga Sadhu.
The first poster was released on Monday, 20th May, revealing Khan’s character of a saadhu and the body of a man being dragged.
Captioned “Raakh se janmaa…Raakh ho jaane ko #LaalKaptaan #HuntBegins6thSeptember,” the film promises to be visually dramatic.
Talking about the lead actor, Sunil Lulla the managing director of Eros International said,
Saif is a gifted actor and this script allows him to showcase his talent like never before. Laal Kaptaan boasts of a larger-than-life landscape, dramatic characters and a gripping story that makes it a first of its kind.
Images from the shoot went viral earlier last year, revealing Khan in the never-before-seen avatar.
